Organized in 1981, the Friends of the Monona Public Library is a non-profit organization that strives to enhance the value of the Monona Public Library to the community. We work in partnership with the library director and staff to purchase equipment and support programming with money raised through membership dues, fundraisers, and tax-deductible gifts. Our goal is to reach more people in our community and help them access the resources they need to learn, grow, and succeed. The board officers and committee chairs meet 3 times per year. Depending on availability, some meetings can be virtual to accommodate flexibility in scheduling.

Board officer position terms typically start in June, are 2 years, and are eligible to serve additional terms if interested.
